If i understand correctly the "Hide DS4 Controller" option is here to disable something related to emulation, so games that recognize PS4 controller works automatically. Then restart DS4Windows (Stop / start button) So in DS4 Settings menu, simply check the box : "Hide DS4 Controller". but when you don't know it you can search for ages.
